Twitter DM Option Disappears From User Profile Page

Twitter DM Option Disappears From User Profile Page on Jumpforce Top Blog

Twitter has recently updated its Android and iOS versions, although not all users are pleased with the changes. According to reports, the “DM” button, which usually appears between the Follow and Notification buttons on a profile page, has suddenly disappeared for many users. This means they are left without the option of sending direct messages from the profile page.

Despite the unexpected change, Twitter users can still send direct messages through the Messages tab. All they have to do is search for the account they want to message and then type their message. It is worth noting that users can only send DMs to someone who follows them, so they will not be able to message somebody who does not follow them. Additionally, it appears that the “DM” button may have been removed from the profile page in order to make it easier for users to use the Messages tab.

The disappearance of the “DM” button has not been officially confirmed by Twitter. However, many users have reported the same issue on the microblogging site, which indicates the change was intentional. It is also worth noting that this is not the first time Twitter has made changes to its Android and iOS versions. For example, the company recently introduced a new “Mute” feature, which allows users to temporarily mute certain accounts.

The disappearance of the “DM” button from the profile page of Twitter users on Android and iOS is certainly concerning. While it is possible to still send direct messages through the Messages tab, the lack of the “DM” button from the profile page could potentially make it more difficult for users to message each other. It remains to be seen if and when Twitter will address the issue.
